This lecture will discuss America’s current foreign policy strategy in response to the crisis in Ukraine and the significance of the NATO alliance. Important elements of U.S. domestic politics will be explained that influence the formulation of U.S. policy toward Eastern Europe and frame the American debate over how to deal with Russian territorial aggression in that part of the world.
Terry H. Randolph is department chair and professor of political science and history at Palm Beach State College in Boca Raton, Florida where he teaches classes on American government, political science, international relations, and American history.
